Welcome, and thanks for coming to see my photographs.

For me, photography is the art of visual discrimination. Humans are heavily dependent on sight. We rely on what we see to guide us throught every aspect of our daily lives. Yet, how much of our world do we really see? Most of the time we see the necessary... the brake lights of the car in front of us. We haven't any attention to spare for the interesting reflection in the fender, the wildflower growing on the shoulder, or the pattern of leaves in the gutter.

My job, as a photographer and artist, is to focus my attention on the things we don't normally see. In our yards, in our neighborhoods, in our towns and cities, are things we pass by every day without really seeing them. I seek out these things, whether works of man or nature, and capture them in a photograph.

It's a different way of seeing.

I invite you to page through my galleries and see what I see. If one of my photographs speaks to you, I'd be honored to have it displayed in your home or office.

Happy browsing, and thanks again for coming by.
